Autumn Canopy Necklace

Three maple leaves cascade from a sculptural branch, their delicate veins, curled edges, and natural textures preserved through copper electroforming. A warm carnelian rests among them, glowing like an ember against the richly patinated metal.

The copper is carefully polished to bring forward the fine botanical detail, then darkened with liver of sulfur and finished with alcohol ink. The layered surface shifts between burnished copper, bronze, moss green, smoky blue, and flashes of gold, revealing different tones as the necklace catches the light.

Suspended from a waxed cotton cord, this one-of-a-kind piece balances the raw beauty of the forest with the presence of wearable sculpture. Earthy, luminous, and slightly otherworldly, it evokes autumn at its most vivid: leaves turning, color deepening, and nature in transformation.
